What is a MAC owner to do? The world & their PC loving ways are clearly biased against us? Though Apple is pervading every part of our culture their is still a lot one misses when you own a MAC in terms of software. Today I tried to download eBay’s Blackthorne software on my MAC laptop & no dice. So here is my list of the top 5 selling tools you can use on a MAC.
1. Garagesale this program has been around for a while, but in the last year or so its really gotten to be a tool that most eBay sellers can use to optimize their auctions & increase profits fast. Powerseller’s can benefit greatly from GarageSale because it saves time as well as money by storing your photos on GarageSale’s servers and does things like scheduled publishing that would cost an extra fee using eBay’s site directly.
2. Garagebuy on the other hand is great for people looking for a deal on eBay. GarageBuy takes eBay auctions & delivers it in a different, more precise, package. It can seem overwhelming at first but it does an excellent job of getting rid of the useless aucitons & only focusing in on the worthwhile stuff.
GarageSale might be a little crowded on the interface side but it definitely compensates for this with its features. Notifications and keyword/search saving has never been easier & this allows those who spend a lot of time buying on eBay to streamline the process.
3. iSALE was a winner of the Apple Design Award and is the main competition with GarageSale. iSale’s features are very similar to GarageSale which leaves the user to decide which interface they like better. iSale is also expensive than GarageSale which may be one thing to consider when weighing the two.
4. Auction Hunter which I have mentioned before is great system to ’snipe’ eBay auctions and get the lowest price on just about anything that is being sold on the ‘auction’ format. Auction Hunter costs a small fee but is full of great features & will take a lot of the pain in the butt out of ’sniping’ eBay auctions.
5. AuctionGenie grants your auction wishes. AuctionGenie is a program that manages selling, buying, tracking, and related activities for items listed on the eBay. You can use it to create and post your own listings (including eBay Store listings), place bids, track the status of items you’re interested in (even those for which you have not yet placed bids), prepare transaction reports, send and manage post-closing transactions such as payment and delivery.
